General meeting in ten days? Here is your timeline.

What costs you a week

• An incomplete file. The 48-hour lead time runs from receipt of the last document. The exact list is in the quote: send everything at once.
• Accounts more than six months old. An interim statement of accounts is then needed. Ask your accountant for it today.
• Appointing the auditor. A unanimous decision of the shareholders is often enough; otherwise, an application to the president of the commercial court adds a few days. The quote states the applicable procedure.
• A conflict discovered late. An auditor who has already worked for the company cannot sign. The firm checks this before quoting.
• The 8-day rule forgotten. The contribution auditor's or conversion auditor's report must be available at the registered office at least 8 days before the general meeting (Art. R.224-3 and R.225-136 French Commercial Code). This period counts back from the meeting date, not forward from the order.

1. Request the quote today
   Even if not all documents are ready: the firm reserves the slot and sends you the list.
2. Have your lawyer and your accountant work in parallel
   Draft documents on one side, accounting statement on the other.
3. Upload the documents in one go
   The auditor's questions are grouped, and so are your answers.
4. Call if the status is "tight"
